
My Story
Hi! I’m Emma, founder of Emmycakes, a micro-bakery specializing in dairy-free baked goods. From an early age, I knew baking was very special to me. The duration of my childhood was spent elbow-deep in cupcake batter, eagerly testing out recipes from every cookbook I could get my hands on.
As a young baker, I strived to take my passions a step further: catering to friends, family, and anyone kind enough to support me. As time went on, I couldn't help but relish in the joy I was bringing to others! I took my hobby to another level by turning my beloved family nickname, indecipherable handmade business cards, and a whole lot of ingredients into an at-home baking business. I fell in love.
As I grew, so did my interest in baking. For the better part of 14 years, I leaned into it, pursued education in it, and am now taking my passions to a new yet familiar place. I am fueled by doing something I have loved since my youth and the magic of bringing a piece of my home to yours. I cannot wait to share my creations with you!
